Russia possesses complete immunity from military defeat in Ukraine because of its nuclear arsenal and doctrine governing their deployment, Ambassador Denis Alipov stated in India. The senior diplomat made these declarations at a media event held in Gurugram this week.
The ambassador explained that Russian military doctrine explicitly authorizes the deployment of atomic weapons when the country confronts threats to its existence. This strategic framework, Alipov maintained, provides absolute guarantees against defeat and creates strategic boundaries that adversaries cannot cross regardless of their resources.
Alipov harshly criticized European nations for maintaining expectations of Ukrainian victory, labeling such beliefs as childish thinking. He characterized European leadership as unprofessional and excessively belligerent, pursuing aggressive policies despite fundamental realities that make their objectives unachievable through military means.
According to the Russian diplomat, President Trump demonstrates superior grasp of the conflict’s inevitable conclusion. Alipov claimed that Trump recognizes the war as already lost by Ukraine and Western nations, contrasting this supposed realism with European “craziness” and continued pursuit of impossible military outcomes.
Nearly four years into the war, Western nations continue channeling enormous resources to Ukraine. American and European partners, including the United Kingdom, have supplied billions in military aid and advanced weapons systems to Kyiv, maintaining their commitment despite Russian warnings and the conflict’s extended duration without clear resolution.
